APC Waiver & Discount Policy

 

An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only upon acceptance to support peer review administration, editorial processing, journal hosting, and production services.

Waivers and Discounts

APC waivers or discounts may be considered under limited conditions, such as:

  • demonstrated financial hardship
  • authors from resource-constrained settings (where applicable)
  • special issues or invited contributions (when formally approved)

Important Notes

  • Waiver requests must be submitted before final acceptance (or when requested by the editorial office).
  • Waiver decisions are independent of editorial decisions.
  • Approval of a waiver does not influence peer review outcomes.
